From Vancouver to Korea: What I Learned at the K-Darts Festival

A few months ago, I never imagined I would be flying from Vancouver to Korea to represent Canada on a global stage.

After winning the North America Phoenix Darts Championship, I was given the opportunity to compete at the K-Darts Festival, one of the biggest international soft-tip darts events in the world. While the organizers covered my accommodation and entry fees, the cost of travel was still a challenge. So I decided to ask for help and started a small fundraiser.

To my surprise, many of you showed up. Whether it was through donations, encouraging words, or sharing my story, your support truly meant a lot. You reminded me that iDartsLife is not something I am building alone. It is a shared journey.

A Truly Eye-Opening Experience

The K-Darts Festival was unlike anything I had ever experienced. I met top-level players from around the world, learned from them, and saw how far the sport of soft-tip darts has come in other parts of the world. As someone trying to grow darts in a city like Vancouver, where the sport is still under the radar, this experience was incredibly encouraging.

More than the competition, what left the deepest impression on me was the sense of community. People from different countries, speaking different languages, all connected by the same passion. It reminded me why I fell in love with darts in the first place.

What I Brought Back

iDartsLife has always been about more than just darts. It is about using this sport to help people find focus, build resilience, and grow in confidence. This trip reminded me that what I am trying to do matters, and it gave me new ideas and new motivation to keep going.

So thank you again. For believing in me. For supporting this trip. For helping me share what darts can really be. I will continue doing my part to help more people discover this sport and what it can do for their lives.

Let’s keep growing together, one throw at a time. 🎯
